This is a downloadable pattern for a gorgeous Patchwork handbag where we have created panels using the applique method. In the main photo we show the bag assembled using a Stained glass effect. We used a self made bias tape and we include instructions on how to make the bias tape. (You could also use a purchased bias tape).
The full instructions to do the applique and assembly of the Stained Glass Patchwork handbag are included in PDF format.
In the following photos we show the same bag made with two different methods. We have done one with a satin stitch instead of using bias tape and we have done one with Crazy quilting using the decorative stitches on our sewing machine. No instructions are provided for these two methods, but we have made a couple of short videos you can watch. We want to inspire your creativity and discover the unlimited variations you could make of this bag.
